Retail Department Supervisor

PETRO CANADA is seeking a Retail Store Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our retail store. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of sales workers, ensuring efficient store operations, and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
Key Responsibilities:- Team Management: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of sales workers, ensuring they are adequately trained and equipped to meet customer needs.
- Store Operations: Oversee the ordering and receipt of merchandise, authorize returns, and establish work schedules to maintain a smooth and efficient store environment.
- Customer Service: Sell merchandise, resolve customer complaints, and ensure that customer needs are met promptly.
- Reporting: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
Work Environment:
- Work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment
- Handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
