About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Butcher - Retail or Wholesale Specialist to join our team at Finch Super Market & Meat. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality meat products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cutting and Preparing Meat: Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat for sale to customers.
  • Meat Display and Presentation: Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products to attract customers and promote sales.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and making recommendations to customers about meat products.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels, including receiving and stocking meat products.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or wholesale environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Standing for extended periods.
