Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare meats for cutting and processing
  • Cut and trim meats to customer specifications
  • Wrap and package prepared meats for retail or wholesale customers
  • Train and supervise meat cutters and wrappers
  • Prepare and display meat products in a visually appealing manner
  • Ensure all meats are handled and stored in a safe and sanitary manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 30 to 40 hour work week. The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will be able to lift and move heavy objects and work in a team environment.
