Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced butcher to join our team at Alkhair Wholesale. As a butcher, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing meats for sale, as well as providing excellent customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut and trim meats to prepare for processing or cutting
  • Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters
  • Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
  • Wrap and package prepared meats
  • Weigh meats for sale
  • Cut poultry into parts
  • Sell meats to customers
  • Grind meats
  • Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
  • Shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood
  • Maintain inventory of supplies
  • Maintain sales records for inventory control
Work Environment

As a butcher at Alkhair Wholesale, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to work under pressure and maintain a high level of physical activity throughout the day.

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train
