About the Role:

The Customer Supply Chain Associate will play a vital role in ensuring the timely delivery of products and services to our customers. This position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with customers to handle day-to-day inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Enter and verify customer orders for accuracy, ensuring that all details are correct, including load weight, pallet count, and special considerations.
  • Manage orders, monitoring and updating shipping dates, and communicating updates and changes to internal and external customers.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing prompt and effective solutions.
  • Develop strong customer relationships by providing exceptional service and support.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of orders and meet customer expectations.
  • Prepare customer-related reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Strong customer focus and relationship-building skills.
  • High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy of order entry and reports.
  • Strong bi-lingual communication skills (written and verbal) in English and French, with the ability to contact customers over the phone and build long-term customer-centric relationships.
  • Ability to problem-solve and think outside the box to resolve complex customer issues.
  • Good organizational skills to handle a high volume of emails and orders.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze data and identify trends.
  • Practical experience with detail-oriented order entry and research, as well as face-to-face customer interactions.
  • College or university degree/diploma in Business Administration or Operations/Inventory Control/Logistics/Supply Chain preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer service role in North America, with direct experience managing orders and customer relationships preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
  • Familiarity with JDE and Salesforce is an asset.
