Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Kingston Campus Health Centre. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate nurse to provide high-quality patient care and make a positive impact on our community.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing nursing services to students and staff, including health assessments, health promotion, prevention, and treatment. They will also support the provision of health services in a physician-supported clinic, respond to emergencies, and maintain confidential health records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing services to students and staff, including health assessments, health promotion, prevention, and treatment.
  • Support the provision of health services in a physician-supported clinic.
  • Respond to emergencies, such as first aid, injuries, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
  • Maintain confidential health records and ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and legislation.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Registered Practical Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current registration as an RPN with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Minimum of two years of current and progressive experience in nursing, including mental health experience, occupational health, or emergency nursing.
  • Strong organizational, self-management, and communication skills.
  • Able to work effectively as a team member and in a self-directed manner.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary: $36.29/hour, plus 8% in lieu of vacation.
