As a Meat Department Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the meat department, ensuring that all products are displayed and merchandised effectively, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for the meat department team to ensure adequate coverage and efficient operations.
- Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise in the meat department.
- Organize Inventory: Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure that products are properly stored and displayed.
- Supervise Team Members: Supervise and coordinate the activities of meat department team members to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Availability: Must be available to work a 40-hour week.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
This is a permanent position in a fast-paced retail environment. The successful candidate will be required to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
