Job Title: Food Service Team Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Team Lead to join our team at Namaste India Restaurant and Bar. As a Food Service Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our kitchen staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Work Setting: Restaurant

Supervision: 3-4 people

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking; standing for extended periods
