Job Title: Food Service Team Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Team Lead to join our team at Compass Group Canada. As a Food Service Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Supervise and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customer complaints or concerns.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports and maintain accurate records of staff performance and customer feedback.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in food service management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
