Job Title: Food Service Team Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Team Lead to join our team at Edo Japan (Medicine Hat). As a Food Service Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, training staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Work under pressure
  • Tight deadlines
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Physically demanding

Work Environment: Fast food outlet or concession
