Role Summary

The Technical Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in aligning DFI Steel Piling's products and services with the needs of our clients. This position requires a self-motivated individual with a proven track record in business and sales growth, capable of traveling extensively within Canada, the United States, and other international locations.

The ideal candidate will possess a working knowledge of Microsoft's suite of products and an understanding of construction procurement models. The successful applicant will be responsible for engaging existing and potential new customers, building meaningful connections, and fostering relationships from concept through to project completion.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform and coordinate technical sales activities in assigned industries/territories, including new client acquisition.
  2. Organize and facilitate virtual and in-person presentations to engage with clients and promote DFI Steel Piling's offerings.
  3. Identify opportunities and coordinate customer meetings to understand client needs and expectations.
  4. Participate in client-focused strategies, bidding, and quotes, and action plan development to address client needs and concerns.
  5. Collaborate with the business development team to identify opportunities for pursuit and growth.
  6. Attend and participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and other networking events to promote DFI Steel Piling's presence.
  7. Develop and implement growth strategies within assigned territories to meet or exceed sales objectives.
Requirements
  • A self-motivated, results-driven individual with a proven track record in business and sales growth.
  • Ability to travel extensively within Canada, the United States, and other international locations.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft's suite of products.
  • Understanding of construction procurement models.
