Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Officer to join our team. As a Revenue Officer, you will be responsible for receiving, registering, and depositing revenues and expenditure refunds. You will also verify that funds are negotiable, prepare daily bank deposits, and reconcile accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, register, and deposit revenues and expenditure refunds
  • Verify that funds are negotiable
  • Prepare daily bank deposits and issue receipts as required
  • Reconcile accounts and prepare internal billings
  • Apply control requirements, customer service standards, and best business practices to resolve problems and provide subject matter expertise and guidance to departments and agencies of the province
Requirements
  • 5 years of related experience in a financial administration environment
  • Post-secondary degree with a focus in accounting/finance or actively working towards a professional accounting designation
  • Proficiency in SAP Accounts Receivable or comparable large Enterprise Resource Planning Application (ERP)
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Good judgment to identify sensitive and/or urgent issues that require special handling
  • Ability to research, compile, and evaluate information in a timely manner
