Sales Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Supervisor to join our team at Shell Canada. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our sales team.
Job SummaryThe Sales Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our sales team, including assigning tasks, hiring and training staff, and managing inventory. They will also be responsible for preparing reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, as well as resolving issues that may arise.
Responsibilities- Assign sales workers to duties
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
- Authorize payments by cheque
- Order merchandise
- Authorize return of merchandise
- Establish work schedules
- Sell merchandise
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management position
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
As a Sales Supervisor at Shell Canada, you can expect a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on your level of experience. You will also receive benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off. LocationThis role is based in Calgary, Alberta, and requires the ability to work on site. You will be required to commute to our office location, which is easily accessible by public transportation. We offer a flexible work schedule, with regular hours from 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
