About the Role

Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is seeking a skilled Capital Projects Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing capital projects, coordinating with stakeholders, and maintaining relationships with various departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the ownership group and project stakeholders to ensure successful project execution
  • Coordinate refurbishment and infrastructure capital projects, including planning, approvals, and implementation
  • Assist department heads with procurement, workflows, and capital project management
  • Maintain relationships with various departments to facilitate project coordination
  • Work with the Director of Engineering and contractors to execute capital projects
  • Coordinate with hotel departments and contractors to minimize business interruption
  • Communicate project updates to staff and guests through internal communications and marketing channels
  • Manage and track contractor packages, documentation, and health & safety protocols
  • Process capital projects invoices and reconcile project budgets
  • Assist with gathering documents for audits and maintain organized records
Requirements
  • Project management experience and understanding of project timelines and scopes
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations, including core functions and facilities components
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new applications
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to organize and plan workload, adapt to shifting priorities, and exercise good judgment
  • Previous supervisory or leadership qualities demonstrated
  • Fundamental accounting and budget management experience
