About the Role:

The Capital Projects Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing capital projects at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. This includes working closely with the ownership group, project stakeholders, and various departments within the hotel to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage capital projects from initiation to completion
  • Work closely with project stakeholders to ensure project timelines and scopes are met
  • Assist department heads with planning, approvals, and workflows for capital projects
  • Coordinate with hotel departments and contractors to ensure minimal business interruption
  • Manage and track contractor packages, documentation, reservations, and health and safety protocols
  • Accurately process capital projects invoices and consolidate project budgets

Requirements:

  • Project management experience and understanding of project timelines and scopes
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations and facilities components
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to quickly learn new software
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to organize and plan workload, adapt to shifting priorities, and exercise good judgment
