Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to regular cleaning and maintenance schedules to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in guest rooms.
  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize windows, walls, doors, and fixtures to ensure a hygienic environment.
  • Wash and sanitize room showers, toilets, mirrors, and sinks to meet the highest standards of cleanliness.
  • Vacuum carpets and clean hard floors using the appropriate cleaning products to maintain a spotless environment.
  • Regularly replace and restock room amenities, including towels, soaps, and shampoos to ensure guests have everything they need.
  • Remove used bed linens and replace with fresh linens to maintain a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Regularly check if room lighting and appliances are in working order to ensure a smooth guest experience.
  • Comply with work safety practices and ensure all rooms attended meet organizational health and safety standards, as well as federal, provincial, and local safety standards.
  • Perform other related duties as required to maintain a high level of service and quality.

Program Details:

  • This is a full-time, paid position with no fees for job seekers.
  • The position will last for 6 months, with the option to extend or continue working with Mobilize Connect.
  • Staff accommodations are available for all Mobilize staff, with relocation and housing costs covered.

Eligibility:

  • Customer service or hospitality experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Must be 18 years old and legally able to work in Canada.
  • Provide a clear police record.
  • A sense of adventure and a commitment to providing excellent service are essential for this role.
