Job Title: Commercial Banking Expert - Financial Solutions Professional

 

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Banking Expert to join our team in Toronto. As a key member of our Client Relationship Team, you will work closely with our Commercial Account Managers to provide exceptional client service and deliver superior business, financial, and credit advice to our clients.

You will be responsible for analyzing credit requests, conducting business analysis, and providing high-quality credit advice to clients. You will also work collaboratively with Risk Management to ensure that all risk processes and guidelines are followed.

Your expertise in commercial lending, financial analysis, and credit structuring will be essential in helping us deliver trusted advice to our clients and supporting their business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze credit requests and conduct business analysis to meet client expectations
  • Provide high-quality credit advice to clients through presentations and reports
  • Work collaboratively with Risk Management to ensure adherence to risk processes and guidelines
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies and plans to drive client growth and satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in commercial lending and financial analysis
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a financial institution, preferably in commercial banking
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience working with emerging technologies and resources
  • Specialized industry expertise or Commercial Relationship Manager experience is an asset
