Job Title: ECM Technical Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Technical Lead to join our team at Aviva Canada. As a key member of our software engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of our ECM solutions, ensuring they meet the needs of our organization and align with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the development of ECM solutions, including document management and imaging systems in a cloud environment.
  2. Collaborate with project teams and end-users to provide SME-level consultation and support.
  3. Establish and follow coding standards, debug and unit test code, and provide technical guidance to team members.
  4. Develop and maintain ECM solutions, ensuring they meet the needs of our organization and align with industry standards.
  5. Provide technical leadership and expertise to the software engineering team, ensuring the successful implementation of ECM solutions.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  2. Deep knowledge of data modeling, ECM technologies, and software development methodologies.
  3. Minimum 5 years' experience in ECM, with well-known ECM technologies such as IBM FileNet, OpenText, Documentum, SharePoint, and Xerox.
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in SQL query language and agile software development methodologies.
  5. Ability to integrate ECM components with other line-of-business applications, such as Guidewire.
  6. Domain knowledge of Property & Casualty Insurance, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in software engineering.
  7. Experience across multiple technologies within ECM, BPM, or content & document management solutions will be highly beneficial.
