Job Title: School Custodian

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented School Custodian to join our team at Ontario Inc. as a key member of our facilities maintenance team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors. This includes sweeping, mopping, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs, as well as operating industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and waste.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and waste
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  • Perform safety and security checks
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
  • Work with minimal supervision
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
  • Reliability and dependability
