Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented School Custodian to join our team at Ontario Inc. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, and clean hallways, floors, and stairs to ensure a safe and healthy environment
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and well-maintained facility
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  • Perform safety and security checks to ensure the well-being of our students and staff
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train on the job
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Ability to work in an office building and school or educational institution/establishment
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
  • Dependability, excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, and reliability
Work Environment

Our school is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires a team player who can work independently with minimal supervision.
