Job Title: School Custodian

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented School Custodian to join our team at 1195110 Ontario Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs; operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and debris; empty trash cans and other waste containers.
  • Facilities Management: Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment; perform safety and security checks.
  • Personal Qualities: Dependability, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, and reliability.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Environment: All weather conditions.
  • Work Setting: Office building, school, or educational institution.
  • Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
