Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Shared Health Inc is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for operating medical imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. Your expertise in ultrasound technology will be essential in capturing accurate images of internal organs and tissues.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Operate medical imaging equipment, including ultrasound machines, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
* Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
* Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques.
**Requirements:**
* College diploma or certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
* 1-2 years of experience in medical imaging, preferably in a hospital or medical facility setting.
* Canadian Registered Generalist Sonographer (CRGS) certification and Canadian Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers Registration.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
