We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at Shared Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic duties in accordance with your scope of training and experience.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment.
- Develop and implement patient care plans, taking into account individual patient needs and preferences.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduate of an approved Medical Radiography program with attained certification by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
- Active registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
This is a full-time position, working in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging environment. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends, as well as participate in on-call rotations.
