Store Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Preet Ravi Petroleum LTD. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading our retail business and ensuring the smooth operation of our store.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct and Control Daily Operations: Oversee the daily activities of the store, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service.
- Evaluate Daily Operations: Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and staff performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance staff productivity.
- Manage Staff and Assign Duties: Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Determine Merchandise and Services to be Sold: Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and sales data to determine the types of merchandise and services to offer.
- Implement Price and Credits Policies: Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
- Locate, Select, and Procure Merchandise for Resale: Source high-quality merchandise from suppliers and negotiate prices to ensure the best value for the store.
- Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Create and execute marketing plans to promote the store and its products.
- Determine Staffing Requirements: Analyze sales data and customer traffic to determine the number of staff needed to meet customer demand.
- Resolve Issues that May Arise: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may impact store operations.
- Recruit, Hire, and Supervise Staff: Attract, select, and train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Oversee Payroll Administration: Manage payroll, benefits, and other HR-related tasks to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback to improve their skills and productivity.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail business setting.
- Language: English.
- Work Setting: Retail business.
- Participates in a Government or Community Program: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
- Assists with Immediate Settlement Needs: Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, such as housing, transportation, and childcare.
- Supports Social and Labour Market Integration: Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees, such as facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training.
- Recruits Newcomers and Refugees: Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster.
- Supports Foreign Credential Recognition: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
- Offers Mentorship Programs: Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees.
- Provides Diversity and Cross-Cultural Training: Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
- Participates in a Government or Community Program: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
- Offers Mentorship, Coaching, and Networking Opportunities: Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
- Develops and Maintains Relationships: Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
- Provides Cultural Competency Training: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Facilitates Access to Elders: Facilitates access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers.
- Participates in a Government or Community Program: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities.
- Applies Hiring Policies: Applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities.
- Offers Mentorship Programs: Offers mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees.
- Provides Diversity and Cross-Cultural Training: Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
