About Wok Box

We are a dynamic and fast-paced food service company seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team. As a Restaurant Operations Manager at Wok Box, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurants, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food is prepared to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce Compliance: Ensure that all provincial and territorial liquor legislation and regulations are adhered to, maintaining a safe and responsible environment for our customers and staff.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand while minimizing waste and excess stock.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, securing the best possible deals for Wok Box.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring that our restaurants are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, and reliability.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees, assisting with their immediate settlement needs and supporting their social and labor market integration.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people, offering mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities, and providing cultural competency training to create a welcoming work environment.
