About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at A&W Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze financial data to optimize restaurant profitability and implement cost-saving measures
  • Develop and manage budgets to determine food, ingredient, and supply costs
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed
  • Monitor revenue and labor costs to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including staff scheduling and training
  • Recruit, supervise, and train staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation
  • Determine menu offerings and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices for food and other supplies
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
  • Address customer complaints and provide exceptional customer service
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure exceptional results
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a restaurant management role
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving profitability
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset
