About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Labor Relations Manager to join our team in leading labor relations activities within international markets.

This role plays a critical part in mitigating financial risk to our international banking portfolio. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of employment law and labor law, as well as strong problem-solving skills and conflict resolution abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead analysis of labor risk globally, identifying internal and external indicators and preparing regular reports.
  • Advise on collective bargaining mandates, coordinating and recommending language preparation.
  • Develop tools for global labor relations, improving communication related to workforce initiatives and delivering education and training.
  • Assess bank policies through an LR lens, identifying potential risks and escalating accordingly.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree or college diploma in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Employee/Labour Relations or Human Resources.
  • Expert knowledge of employment law and labor law.
  • Knowledge of negotiation and collective bargaining processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask while remaining organized.
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office products.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a sound understanding of LATAM Labor Statutory framework and standards.
  • Fluency in Spanish required (written and spoken).
Location and Benefits

The incumbent works from remote locations and in an office environment. This role offers a competitive salary, ranging from $120,000 to $180,000 annually, depending on location and experience.
