Job Title: Senior Marketing Communications Specialist

Overview

Radiocanada International, a renowned Canadian media organization, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Marketing Communications Specialist to join its dynamic team. This role will be based at the Broadcast Centre in Toronto, Ontario.

Estimated Salary:

$85,000 - $110,000 per annum (based on industry standards for a similar position in Toronto).

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will execute a variety of marketing and communications strategies, projects, and initiatives in support of Radiocanada's programming and products. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic integrated marketing plans, conceiving and producing marketing materials, creating promotional concepts, managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and providing feedback to stakeholders.

  • Develop and implement strategic integrated marketing plans to promote various titles and genres across all Radiocanada platforms.
  • Conceive, plan, and produce a wide variety of marketing and promotional materials, including crafting briefs and marketing plans.
  • Create and develop promotional concepts and approaches that drive audience engagement.
  • Explore, recommend, and implement marketing tactics on various Radiocanada and external platforms.
  • Manage relationships and collaborate regularly with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with internal creative teams to deliver impactful marketing creative that aligns with the brief.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a university or community college graduation in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related discipline. You must also have five years of direct experience demonstrating superior writing, editing, and proofreading skills, a working knowledge of a wide range of communications and marketing strategies, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

You should be able to demonstrate public speaking and networking skills, craft dynamic presentations, and champion diverse perspectives and ideas. Experience working with agencies, paid social media campaigns, and using data to inform decision-making are also essential.
