About the Role

Fleetex Transport Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic support to our management team and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policy Development and Implementation

Develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support business objectives.

Employee Relations

Provide guidance to managers and employees on human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.

Conflict Resolution

Mediate labour disputes and grievances in a fair and impartial manner to resolve issues efficiently.

Research and Analysis

Conduct research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales to support talent management and compensation strategies.

Benefits Administration

Administer employee benefits, employment equity programs, and other human resources initiatives to ensure compliance and optimize benefits.

Performance Management

Coordinate employee performance and appraisal programs to support career development and talent management.

Research and Recommendations

Research employee benefits, health and safety practices, and recommend changes to improve employee well-being and reduce risks.

Staff Management

Hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure effective HR operations and support business objectives.

Collective Bargaining

Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

Work Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in human resources or a related field.

Language

Fluent in English.

Work Environment

Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload.

Personal Suitability

Excellent oral and written communication skills, judgment, organization, teamwork, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, and values and ethics.
