Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator

Fleetex Transport Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing human resources policies and programs that support the company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, develop, and implement human resources policies and programs
  • Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements
  • Mediate labour disputes and grievances
  • Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales
  • Administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs
  • Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs
  • Research employee benefits and health and safety practices and recommend changes
  • Hire, train, and supervise staff
  • Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Judgement, organized, team player, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, and values and ethics
  • MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word skills
