Accounting and Financial Expertise

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Analyst to join our team at American Iron & Metal. As an Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate, full-cycle accounting for the region under your responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present financial statements
  • Reconcile the balance sheet
  • Perform month-end/year-end close related tasks
  • Develop and maintain financial planning activities (targets/budgets)
  • Assist in the development and monitoring of costs for these locations
  • Work closely with Business Unit (BU) partners to understand their business and help them identify their financial drivers
  • Work closely with the operation/commercial teams at each site to streamline processes and improve efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a multi-site organization
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Autonomous with strong analytical and communication skills
