Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to join our team. This role will play a critical part in supporting our Key Account Managers by coordinating customer orders from order entry through fulfillment, while providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities
  • Confirm and enter customer purchase orders, maintaining accurate records in customer portals as required.
  • Serve as the primary conduit between Key Account Managers and other departments to ensure timely availability of products, materials, and services.
  • Act as the first point of contact with customers to follow up on outstanding purchase orders, respond to routine inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with Key Account Managers to build strong customer relationships by providing exceptional service and quickly resolving time-sensitive issues.
  • Coordinate item setup and maintenance in customer portals, ensuring seamless integration with our ERP system.
  • Support Key Account Managers and Sales Operations Manager by analyzing sales and shipment data, preparing proposals and presentations, and meeting regularly to review current and upcoming orders.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary diploma/degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years' experience in a sales support/coordination role, preferably in the floral industry.
  • Prior experience dealing with mass market retailer/customer portals is a strong asset.

  • Strong organization and prioritization skills to coordinate all aspects of order fulfillment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and cooperatively with other departments.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
