Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Front Desk Associate to join our team at Torstaff in Yorkville. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the smooth operation of our luxury goods boutique.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inbound and Outbound Communication: Manage all incoming inquiries and requisitions via phone and email, ensuring timely and effective responses to customers and vendors.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Coordinate and accept shipments and deliveries of new products and supplies, maintaining accurate records and ensuring seamless inventory management.
  • Documentation and Correspondence: Prepare and send written communications to vendors, suppliers, and customers, including product refunds, warranties, and repair consultations.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Assist with scheduling meetings, travel arrangements, and appointments in designated calendars, guaranteeing punctuality and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Related experience in a retail environment is highly valued, showcasing your ability to navigate complex customer interactions and adapt to fast-paced environments.
  • Confidentiality and Discretion: Proven ability to effectively handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality, especially when dealing with senior-level management.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Adaptability and Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
