Job Summary:

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our team as Supervisor, Provincial Communication Unit. As a key member of our Enforcement Branch, you will be responsible for leading a large team in delivering critical ministry programs in a 24/7 communication centre environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of experienced professionals in delivering high-priority programs and services.
  • Develop and implement operational plans to ensure effective service delivery and compliance with ministry objectives.
  • Provide comprehensive supervisory oversight, coaching, and mentoring to team members.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to promote program goals and initiatives.
  • Contribute to service delivery improvements by participating in the development of recommendations and strategies.

Requirements:

  • Valid class G driver's license or equivalent.
  • Enhanced-level screening check under the OPS Employment Screening Checks Policy.
  • Leadership experience, including coaching and mentoring team members.
  • Effective planning and coordination skills.
  • Strong understanding of human resources management, financial resources management, and performance management.
  • Proficiency in computer operation and software applications.
  • Expert knowledge in troubleshooting techniques and diagnostics.
