Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for executing and confirming quality inspections as part of the production process with an emphasis on aircraft structural assemblies and components. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute technical inspections in the production process of the aircraft, ensuring compliance with design specifications, customer requirements, and certification standards.
  • Prepare and perform administrative, visual, dimensional incoming inspections during the aircraft manufacturing process.
  • Document all technical inspections performed using SAP-based and SAL-based IT systems.
  • Compile non-conformance technical data to launch quality discrepancy sheets for professional assessment.
  • Support troubleshooting and participate in quality surveys.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years of relevant experience in quality assurance or a related field, preferably in the aerospace industry.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems, drawing systems, inspection plans, and coordination.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with FAA Airframe & Powerplant License (A&P) and inspection authorization is preferred. Additionally, airline experience is desirable.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires working in a typical office environment. You may be required to work occasional extended hours and weekend overtime. The employee frequently uses hands or fingers, handles objects, tools, or controls, and occasionally stands, walks, sits, reaches, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
