Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Viscor. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $120,000 per year.

About the Role

This role will be responsible for leading our quality management initiatives across all facilities. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in quality management, statistical process control, and process improvement.

You will work closely with plant personnel to develop and implement quality standards and procedures. This includes creating and maintaining quality plans, conducting audits, and identifying areas for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain quality plans to ensure compliance with corporate and industry standards
  • Lead cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and reduce defects
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop strategies to address these issues
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve quality issues
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on quality processes and procedures
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, quality assurance)
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in quality management or a related field
  • Experience with Six Sigma methodologies and statistical process control
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer
  • Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE)
  • Experience in design and manufacturing environments
