Job Summary

International Education Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Associate Director of Student Affairs. This position is responsible for supporting the Director of Education in managing and leading the campus Education Team by overseeing the delivery of quality educational programs and the development and implementation of effective strategies to meet campus student retention, completion, and licensure goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comply with applicable federal and state laws and regulations, accreditor standards, and institutional policies and procedures;
  • Supervise, monitor, and implement student activities, including the facilitation of Gateway to Success and College Prep Day with the campus faculty and staff;
  • Plan, prepare, promote, and facilitate Student Appreciation activities, Student Awards, and the Student Ambassador Program;
  • Prepare, communicate, and confirm with instructors and students the facilitation of Student Satisfaction Survey week(s);
  • Spearhead, plan, and execute the process and follow-up of Student Progress Report;
  • Monitor, manage, and focus on student populations at risk for first module retention, low pass rates, lab attendance, and overall campus attendance;
  • Monitor and advise all activities surrounding student fails, SAP, and MTF students at risk;
  • Connect with Student Service Center on at-risk students and campus text, email, and call campaigns;
  • Collaborate and partner with Career Services on weekly meetings, Senior Workshops, Externship Readiness workshop, and student transitioning on to externship;
  • Assist with daily instructor check-outs as needed to ensure all grades and attendance are posted;
  • Assist the Director of Education with instructor recruitment and new instructor training;
  • Conduct classroom observations on an ongoing basis and formal observations quarterly;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Performance Metrics

The Associate Director of Student Affairs performance is measured by the campus meeting its student retention and graduation/completion goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred;
  • Minimum 1 year education management and administration experience;
  • Minimum 3 years of instruction experience;
  • Successful track record of effective teaching, curriculum development, and education administration;
  • Above-average user skills in computer and information technology (student database, online educational resources);
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to build and lead a team.
