Job Summary

Paladin Security is seeking a highly skilled Security Guard to join our team at Ingredion Canada Incorporated. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our site, employees, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Control entry and access to the plant, maintaining accurate logs of those entering and leaving the site
  • Weigh scale operations and document control for contractors and drivers
  • Report safety non-compliances and incidents to the Ingredion representative
  • Aid in incident mitigation and investigations, emergency responses, and first aid measures when required
  • Maintain a helpful and professional affiliation with Ingredion employees, carriers, contractors, and visitors

Requirements

  • Courteous and cooperative with a high quality of customer service
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures
  • Able to maintain a professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances and people under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations
  • Write clear, concise, and legible reports

Certification Requirements

Standard First Aid, CPR Level C, Valid Ontario Security License
