Job Title: Security Officer

Paladin Security is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and protection of property, persons, and information.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Security Officer who is able to work independently and as part of a team to provide proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be able to work with people who are under stress or in need of medical assistance, and be physically fit to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safety and protection of property, persons, and information
  • Patrol property on foot
  • Effective communication
  • Monitor CCTV system
  • Respond to calls for service in a timely and urgent manner
  • Attention to detail
  • Report writing, deploying and collecting equipment
  • Manage high stress and complex decision making
  • Knowledge and enforcement of Trespass to Property Act (TPA)
Requirements
  • A Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
  • Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C
  • Proficient in English (both oral and written)
  • Vulnerable Sector Check
  • COVID Double Vaccination
