Job Summary

The Royal Conservatory of Music is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director, Business Development and Partnerships to lead our business development efforts and drive revenue growth across multiple markets.

Main Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning and Implementation
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute business strategies that maximize revenue opportunities and expand market share.
    • Develop and implement annual revenue plans to achieve business objectives.
    • Identify new market opportunities and develop business models to drive growth.
  • Revenue Optimization
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and improve profitability.
    • Pilot and execute sales launches for new products with distribution partners.
    • Identify areas of incremental revenue growth opportunities with existing partners.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting
    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to drive revenue growth.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive business results.
  • Team Leadership and Development
    • Lead and develop a high-performing revenue team to drive business results.
    • Mentor and coach team members to improve skills and performance.
Requirements
  • 7 years of leadership experience in strategic sales and operations in global markets.
  • Proven track record in partnership development and revenue generation initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from complex business data.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration.
  • High level of written and spoken language competency in Mandarin or other languages is considered an asset.
Working Conditions

Office environment with occasional requirements to work outside of regular office hours. Travel 50% or more as needed for the role.
