Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 118th Avenue Holdings Ltd. o/a New York Fries.

About the Job

This is a permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week. English is the primary language required for this role.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $45,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and deadlines.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and excess inventory.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and efficient service.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
