Job Summary:

The Clerical Support Clerk plays a vital role in the Research and Innovation Centre, providing administrative support to the team. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills to perform a variety of reception and clerical functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and greeting clients/patients.
  • Maintain accurate records by performing data entry, collating information, and updating client/patient statistics.
  • Prepare and distribute various documents, including correspondence and reports, using computerized software packages.
  • Perform clerical tasks, such as filing, routing paperwork, and ordering office supplies.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12, Office Administration Certificate, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
  • Proficiency in word processing software programs (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
