Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Coordinator, Home Support Programs - Quesnel. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your project management, creative problem-solving, and team leadership expertise to our Home Support team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver, plan, organize, and evaluate the Quesnel Home Support Programs, including operational management of clinical activities, education, and quality improvement.
  • Supervise staff and establish partnerships with Home and Community programs, service providers, community agencies, and related organizations.
  • Manage the overall operational management of clinical activities, education, and quality improvement in the Quesnel Home Support Programs.
About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of healthcare issues and trends, as well as comprehensive knowledge of home support and home support scheduling principles and best practices. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, patients, and community partners.

Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in a health-related field.
  • Five to seven years recent related experience, including in a supervisory/leadership role.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of current healthcare issues and trends.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of home support and home support scheduling principles and best practices.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of applicable acts and regulations pertaining to home support programs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, with all levels.
  • Ability to foster effective working relationships, internally and externally, at all levels.
  • Ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team.
