Job Summary

We are seeking a Food Service Supervisor to join our Starbucks team in Weyburn, Saskatchewan. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Store Manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts.
  • Deploy partners and delegate tasks to create a positive customer experience.
  • Provide legendary customer service by acting with a customer-first attitude and connecting with customers.
  • Develop positive relationships with the shift team by understanding and addressing individual motivation, needs, and concerns.
  • Execute store operations during scheduled shifts, including opening and closing duties.
  • Follow all cash management and cash register policies to ensure the safety of all partners.
  • Provide quality beverages, whole beans, and food products consistently for all customers.
  • Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments by using existing organizational tools.

Requirements

  • Supervisory experience of 1+ years.
  • Experience in the Food Services Industry is preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of Starbucks's products and procedures is an asset.
  • Ability to direct the work of others.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Effective oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the retail environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including motivating, delegation, conflict management, respect for others, and listening.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach, train, and mentor employees.
