Job Summary

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. This includes deploying partners, delegating tasks, and creating a positive customer experience. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a strong ability to communicate effectively, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Store Manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts
  • Deploy partners and delegate tasks to create a positive customer experience
  • Model and act in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles and best practices
  • Provide legendary customer service to all customers
  • Develop positive relationships with the shift team
  • Execute store operations during scheduled shifts
  • Organize opening and closing duties as assigned
  • Follow all cash management and cash register policies
  • Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products

Requirements

  • Supervisory experience of 1+ years
  • Experience in the Food Services Industry is preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of Starbucks's products and procedures is an asset
  • Ability to direct the work of others
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Effective oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of the retail environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Strong leadership skills
