About the Role

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to be a part of an exciting upcoming project in a specific location. This role is for someone who is eager to receive hands-on training and professional mentorship from experienced Project Managers, trade partners, and field operations staff. Under the direction of a Project Manager, the Project Coordinator will ensure timely and accurate flow of information regarding project details and safety protocols to subtrades, clients/owners, architects, and other project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, organize, and maintain all project materials including (but not limited to): drawings, specifications, purchase orders, design plans, contract documents, file correspondence;
  • Prepare change order documentation and tracking of all contracts change orders and purchase orders;
  • Assist with the sample and shop drawing review process throughout the project including review, distribution, and final approvals electronically;
  • Report on project progress and productivity to senior management and clients;
  • Ensure compliance with on-site and company-wide health and safety protocols and policies;
  • Communicate with subtrades to assist in budgeting to ensure they understand their scope of work;
  • Review designs and use knowledge of construction methods to determine the most cost-effective approach.

Skills and Experience
  • Certificate, diploma or degree in Building Technology, Construction Management, Construction Technology, or a related field;
  • Minimum one to two (1-2) years of experience in construction on-site as a Project Coordinator;
  • Proficiency in Procore, MS Project and other construction related software will be considered a strong asset;
  • Academic experience or professional exposure to Design or VCON will be considered an asset;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (written/verbal) skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines;
  • Willing and excited to work on site and be actively involved in project execution.

The base salary range for this role may be $60,000 to $75,000, depending on experience, plus a competitive performance-based bonus program. During the interview process, let's talk to get the right fit for your experience level.
