Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Restaurant General Manager to join our team. As a Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for leading a diverse team of employees and ensuring that our restaurant meets the high standards of the A&W brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Staff Management
    • Manage staff to maintain and achieve restaurant targets and standards
    • Coach staff to provide excellent customer service representative of the A&W brand
  • Operations
    • Monitor and control labor costs and food and waste costs
    • Lead staff to achieve service times and work as a part of the team
    • Ensure all food safety regulations are followed
  • Inventory and Supplies
    • Order and manage inventory
  • Employee Relations
    • Hire, retain, and terminate employees

Requirements

  • G2 license
  • Access to a reliable vehicle
  • Restaurant management experience - two years or more
  • Food handling certificate
  • Quick service restaurant experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Great social skills and love for interacting with other people
  • A leader and a team player
  • Basic English language skills
