Job Title: HR Business Development Manager
Job Description:
The HR Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic HR plans to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of HR principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Employee Support: Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals, provide guidance on employee relations and labor law compliance, support collective bargaining and union contract management.
- Business Relationships and Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, managers, and employees, to understand their needs and expectations.
- Policy, Process, and Project Support: Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, support project management and coordination, and provide data analysis and reporting to inform business decisions.
- Metrics, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement: Collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and develop recommendations for process enhancements.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Post-Secondary education in Human Resources Management or Industrial Relations, minimum 5 years' experience working as an HR Generalist/Business Partner, CHRP designation considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of provincial and federal employment and labour legislation, with an emphasis on Quebec, experience with ATS (Smart Recruiters) and ADP is strongly preferred.
- Ability to travel to units across the province/country to provide on-site HR support, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
