Belvika Trade & Packaging Ltd. is a leading company in the consumer-packaged goods industry, seeking a highly skilled Planning Analyst to join its team. As a Planning Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and planning customer scheduling requirements based on forecasted demand. This hands-on position will be responsible for daily planning of materials required to execute customer demand plans.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of customer service experience in the CPG area, ability to work with various computer programs (Microsoft Office, ERP), and a desire to take on new challenges in a fast-paced and exciting customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate and coordinate daily material requirements as per customer forecasted demand;
  • Establish production for short and long-term requirements and ensure production plans are met;
  • Plan for and schedule feedstock and packaging material in support of production schedules;
  • Provide ongoing status updates to the customer demand planner and internal team through communications and system entries;
  • Analyze the validity of schedules and participate in weekly customer conference calls with the demand planning team;
  • Forecast the impacts of proposed changes on schedules;
  • Monitor production schedules to ensure all customer requirements are met within required production timelines;
  • Analyze and report productivity on projects;
  • Conduct current and future forecasting analysis;

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in customer service or in planning, preferably in a CPG environment;
  • Procurement experience would be an asset;
  • Previous background in scheduling, forecasting, and planning is an asset;
  • College equivalent or higher;
  • Knowledge of distribution, inventory, and supply chain practices;
  • Technical skills include proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel, and previous experience with SAP or other ERP software systems is considered an asset;
  • Strong analytical and mathematical abilities;
  • Candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be detail-oriented, and results-driven.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
