Job Overview

Vancouver Coastal Health invites applications for a Medical Specialist in Anatomical Pathology to join our team at Richmond Hospital.

About the Role

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is seeking a full-time permanent position as a General or Anatomical Pathologist. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team of 5 Pathologists providing General Pathology work, including anatomical and possibly clinical pathology services for both inpatients and outpatients in Richmond Community of Care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing and interpreting routine and complex anatomical pathology tests
  • Providing expertise in diagnosis and reporting of test results
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care

Requirements

  • Degree in medicine from a recognized institution
  • Fellowship training and/or related work experience an asset
  • Licensure to practice medicine in British Columbia

Compensation and Benefits

This is a regular full-time position with a salary range of $420,000 - $600,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
